What is Neoncology?

A Primer for the God-heads

“And the Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form, as a crab.”

Neoncology is the Crab Science set down by Ken Countrymen, host of the Godcast. It joins the crab to the cancer — the creature to the constellation, and the constellation to the affliction — and reads the three as one figure. The framework is holistic and it is heterodox, but it is Christ-centered throughout: a great chain of being for modern times.

Its findings are few, and they are held plainly:

That the tree in the garden was a crabapple tree, and its fruit the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.
That the Spirit at the Jordan descended not as a dove but as a crab.
That the Greek ichthys is better rendered crab.
That the mud of Genesis is better rendered sand.
